FIRE DANGER RATING 

To learn more about each Fire Danger Rating, please view the appropriate section below:

 LOW - Fire Danger Rating

Fires may start easily and spread quickly. Keep fires under constant supervision at all times. 

 

Fire rating guide - LOW

 MODERATE - Fire Danger Rating

Fires may start easily and spread quickly. Keep fires under constant supervision at all times. Any fires in forest areas should be treated with caution. There is an increased risk of surface fires starting. Forest fuels are drying.

 

Fire rating guide - MODERATE

 HIGH - Fire Danger Rating

No fireworks permitted. Extreme caution must be taken at all times. Only campfires for cooking and warmth are allowed. Fire risk in forest areas is serious and extreme caution should be exercised. Forest fuels are very dry.

 

Fire rating guide - HIGH

 EXTREME - Fire Danger Rating

No open burning. No fireworks. Campfires are not allowed. Fire risk in forest areas is very serious and will spread rapidly. Forest fuels are extremely dry.
