Town of Inuvik Office
Contains Town Administrative Offices, Town Council Chambers and Fire Department. Built in 1975-76.

Igloo Church Our Lady of Victory
Roman Catholic Church

Designed by Brother Maurice Larocque and Father Joseph Adam. Two years to build and opened in 1960

Ingamo Hall Friendship Centre
Centre built in 1976-77 from logs which came from Ft. Simpson area and floated down the Mackenzie River.

Midnight Sun Recreation Complex
In September 1997, the Complex was officially opened. This facility is 45,712 square feet and houses and Olympic sized hockey rink, 4 sheet curling surface, curling club lounge and bar, a full-service community hall which seats 350, modern convention facilities and full-service concession area.

Research Laboratory
Government of Canada Scientific Research Laboratory is a facility to provide assistance to government, university and industrial scientists. Opened in 1964.

NWT Training Centre Building

Houses the Inuvik Interagency Committee

 


Inuvialuit Corporate Centre
Opened in 1988, this state-of-the-art, three-story structure is headquarters for the Inuvialuit group of companies.

Alex Moses Greenland Building
Opened in 1994 this building houses the Nihtat Gwich'in Council and Inuvik Native Band Offices.

Western Arctic Visitor's Centre
Opened in 1995, this information centre welcomes tourists to the region as well as displaying cultural exhibits.

Inuvik Community Green House
Converted a building (former Grollier Hall Arena) into a community greenhouse as a focus point for community development. Garden plots and a 4000 sq. ft. commercial greenhouse.
