Notice to Residents to apply for Fireworks Permits prior to purchasing them this holiday season

A reminder to all residents that you MUST complete a Fireworks Permit Application Form and have it signed by the Fire Chief or Designate PRIOR to purchasing fireworks.

NOTE: These permits are for the Town of Inuvik ONLY.

If you have friends or family wishing to buy fireworks to set off in their home communities, they must have the permit signed by the designate in their home community.

Hours of Operation

The Town of Inuvik Protective Services office will be on Holiday Hours commencing on December 21.

We will make every effort to be there, however, emergencies may take us away during these times.

Permits may be issued between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. on the following days only:

  • Friday, December 21
  • Thursday, December 27
  • Friday, December 28
  • Monday, December 31

Firehall - You must ring the doorbell on the left side of the doors.
