The GNWT Environment and Climate Change, Beaufort Delta Fire Operations will be conducting a prescribed burn this afternoon in the Jak Park campground.
The purpose of this controlled burn is to reduce fuel (grass, shrubbery) in the camping area.
Light smoke may be present in the area during the controlled burn.
The fire will be fully extinguished prior to the departure of the fire crew.
