Due to several complaints over the weekend, it is necessary to send out a reminder regarding burn permits, and safe, respectful burning within the town of Inuvik.
Burn permits ARE required.
Contact 867.777.8637 during business hours Monday to Friday.
Leave a message with name, number and where you will be burning.
You will be contacted as soon as possible to arrange for the permit to be picked up. There is no fee.
By acquiring a permit, you acknowledge that you understand and will comply with safe burning practices.
