Why Volunteer?

Whether you want to get to know your community better, share a skill, build your resume or support a cause you are passionate about, there are plenty of opportunities available as a volunteer throughout the Town of Inuvik.

Not only can volunteering give you great joy, but it also serves a purpose.  Many of the events and activities that we, as community members, take for granted, could not happen without the gracious help of those who share their time. These are the individuals that make Inuvik a better place. Why not become one of those people?

Bill Mero Memorial Volunteer Recognition Award 

Nominations are open to all volunteers, (individuals or groups) not just board members, club reps or committee chairs.  The nominee should have participated and contributed significantly to the success of one or more organization’s or group’s programs, events or projects
