December in Inuvik is full of festive celebrations and community spirit!

The month kicks off with the annual Christmas Craft Fair from December 5–7, offering unique local gifts and handmade creations. On December 14, the much-loved Christmas Parade will brighten the streets, followed by the Kids’ Community Christmas Party, and the magical Christmas Tree Light-Up in Chief Jim Koe Park as the parade passes through. The holiday fun continues with the final Arctic Market of the year on December 20, perfect for last-minute shopping. Plus, don’t miss the Community Light-Up Competition on December 19, where residents show off their brightest and most festive displays.
