Notice of Virtual Public Hearing - October 13, 2021

Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning By-law 2583/P+D/15, and in accordance with public health orders, a VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARING has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The Hearing will take place by Zoom Webinar and livestreamed on the Town's YouTube channel.  

PUBLIC NOTICE - OCTOBER 13, 2021

  1. To add new definitions for Special Care Residence and Special Care Facility to the Zoning By-law
  2. To add the above new types of development as Permitted and/or Conditional Uses under the R1 Low Density, R2 Medium Density, and C2 General Commercial Zones as applicable
  3. To add regulations for both types of developments

To better accommodate and allow for potential new developments

Notice of Virtual Public Hearing – March 24, 2021

Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning By-law 2583/P+D/15, and in accordance with public health orders, a VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARING has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.  The Hearing will take place by Zoom Webinar and live streamed on the Town’s YouTube channel.  More information about public participation will be made available closer to the hearing date.

PUBLIC NOTICE - March 5, 2021

  1. To rezone property from H-Hinterland to ST-Science and Technology Zone
  2. To reassign the area shown on the Location Map from Hinterland/Urban Reserve/Transportation to Industrial Use as shown on land use plan Schedule “B” of the Community Plan.

To allow for expansion of the current satellite facility near the Inuvik weigh scales on Airport Road.
