Sunset Over the Trees

Summer or winter, an outdoor adventure land awaits you in and around Inuvik. It's the perfect place to explore all that the Arctic nature has to offer.

Hike or snowshoe the Boot Lake Trail, ski the trails at the Ski Club, or experience golfing 24 hours a day under the midnight sun at the Roads End Golf Club!

Fish and explore the mighty Mackenzie River, from boat or ice.

Drive the incredible Dempster Highway, one of Canada's top must-travel routes, and experience the ice roads that link the communities of the Delta from approximately January to April.

Camp and enjoy our Territorial parks.

Inuvik is also the gateway to an amazing array of National Parks, from mountainous Ivvavik in the Yukon to Aulavik on Banks Island in the high Arctic, and Tuktut Nogait on the western Arctic coast. Please contact Parks Canada - Western Arctic Field Office for more information on National Parks in our area.
