EVENTS & PROGRAMS UPDATE FOR JUNE 2019

The Summer is upon us and we are so pleased to look forward to another season of great events and programs that take advantage of our long days and nights under the Midnight Sun. Our small team in the Economic Development & Tourism Department have been undergoing a few changes and have been busy preparing for the upcoming Arctic Development Expo being held June 10-12th in Inuvik.

Once finished with hosting this exciting 3-day conference & tradeshow, we will be excited to turn our attention to all our summer events and programs that we have planned for our residents and our visitors.

As we are in the final days before the Expo, we just wanted to reach out and provide an update to the community about what we are up to and what our plans are. We appreciate your patience over the last few months as we re-build our core staff and prepare for the busy summer season. We look forward to working with all of you (residents, organizations, businesses, tour operators, partners, and tourism stakeholders) to ensure Inuvik has an amazing and successful year.
