Does your TV show, film or documentary need the perfect Arctic backdrop?

Inuvik is located in the beautiful Mackenzie Delta, with views of the Richardson Mountains in the horizon. Situated in an ideal location that allows for both comfortable accommodations and necessary amenities, Inuvik can also provide visitors with the required means of travel to other local communities, such as Tuktoyaktuk on the Arctic Ocean.

The town is vibrant and full of colour and local culture is ever-present. If you are interested in filming in Inuvik, please visit the NWT Film Commission website.

It is also important to check with local aboriginal groups if filming in the area is acceptable. This can be done by contacting the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation and the Gwich'in Tribal Council.

Local tour operators, Tundra North Tours, also have experience in film work and helping guide filmmakers throughout Inuvik and the Western Arctic.

"We are able to take care of everything for you from finding the perfect shoot locations and booking flights and accommodation. Whatever your needs we will go to great lengths to ensure you leave extremely satisfied with your project!" - Tundra North Tours
