Work on the Midnight Sun Complex main entrance stairs has resumed.  The main doors to the facility will remain open, however, the stairs will not be accessible.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of January.

2019 Inuvik Sunrise FestivalAfter 30 days of no official sunlight, the Town of Inuvik celebrates the return of the sun at the annual Inuvik Sunrise Festival starting Friday, January 4 th to Sunday, January 6 th . During this unique 3-day festival, participants can enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities including local food samplings, music, an ice castle & snow carvings, arts, crafts, sliding hills, ice skating, traditional drum dancing, a giant bonfire, a spectacular fireworks display and more.

Fireworks Permits Fireworks Permits
A reminder to all residents that you MUST complete a Fireworks Permit Application Form and have it signed by the Fire Chief or Designate PRIOR to purchasing fireworks.
NOTE: These permits are for the Town of Inuvik ONLY.
If you have friends or family wishing to buy fireworks to set off in their home communities, they must have the permit signed by the designate in their home community.
