The Town of Inuvik is asking the community for assistance and vigilance as co-stewards of our community infrastructure.
The Town of Inuvik would like to request the assistance from our local families, parents, and care givers to please speak with your children & youth about not playing or loitering in or around the Special Events Pavilion or the Inuvik Welcome Centre, especially afterhours.

BURN PERMIT REMINDER aug 2022Due to several complaints over the weekend, it is necessary to send out a reminder regarding burn permits, and safe, respectful burning within the town of Inuvik.
Burn permits ARE required.
Contact 867.777.8637 during business hours Monday to Friday.
Leave a message with name, number and where you will be burning.
You will be contacted as soon as possible to arrange for the permit to be picked up. There is no fee.

The outages will last from 10pm to 6am on the affected days.
The highlighted yellow area of the map will not be affected by the outages.
