General Inquiries

First point of contact for municipal inquires including redirection to appropriate departments, also responsible for lotteries, and licenses.

Executive Administration, Mayor & Council

 

Ensures effective governance and management of the town's operations. Responsible for strategic planning and policy development.

Point of Contact for elected officials responsible for setting policies and making decisions on municipal matters. Engages with residents to address local concerns.


Corporate Services

Manages the town's financial affairs, including budgeting, accounting, and tax collection. Also oversees municipal elections and the maintenance of official documents.


Human Resources

Manages employment-related services including recruitment, training, employee relations, and benefits administration.


Inuvik Centennial Library

Provides a wide range of informational, educational, and recreational resources. Offers various programs and services for all age groups.


Economic Development & Tourism and Welcome Centre

Focuses on enhancing local economic growth, attracting investments, and promoting tourism. Operates the Welcome Center, providing information and resources to visitors.


Parks, Recreation & Leisure

Manages parks, recreational facilities, and community programs that promote an active and healthy lifestyle for residents.


Protective Services

The Fire Services Division provides emergency response services, including fire protection and rescue operations. The Municipal Enforcement Division provides public safety services including animal control, enforcement of Municipal By-laws, and other safety initiatives.

Infrastructure

Oversees the maintenance and development of municipal infrastructure, roads, solid waste, development permitting and cemeteries.
