Division would like to remind motorists who travel on Airport Road from Hospital Hill to the Inuvik Airport that the speed limit is now 50km/hr during the construction phase. Slow down and obey all posted construction zone signage. It is of the upmost importance to protect workers and the public.

In the interests of public and worker safety, Municipal Enforcement will have an increased presence in the Airport Road construction zone. Municipal Enforcement will be targeting aggressive drivers, distracted drivers, and drivers who are not obeying speed signage. Please note that FINES ARE DOUBLED in construction zones.
